Masters
Masters Format is for those up for a challenge. This format has NO handicaps, each player plays a race to 7. There is a maximum of four players per roster & 3 team members participate in each match. Masters format follows US Amateur rules and format. Teams play 8 games of 9 Ball & 5 games of 8 Ball.
The player that wins the lag has the choice of game format or break, teams can earn a maximum of 21 points per night. At the end of the session the team who places 1st advances to the Championship Finals. Depending on the number of teams in the division, some teams will compete in the division playoffs. Teams who win the playoffs enter the Championship Finals to compete for a trip to the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas.
During the session, teams and individual members may earn trophies, awards and eligibility for members-only tournaments, special events, and more. Check out the Calendar of Events and the rest of the Triad APA website for more info.
