HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR APA LEAGUE.....

This session we are honoring the 5 matches played since the National office told that to players and we have verified that with them. Starting in the fall, it will be 6 matches played per the by-laws.

Ladies, Major league Masters(sl 6 and up) & minor league masters (sl 5 and under)- divisions will be starting August 27th (4th Saturday) due to the NTC. In Sept. , it will be the 2nd Saturday of the month (9.10.16) for the remainder of the session. Double matches, $30.00 per match for a total of 20 weeks. Must have 6 teams to start. E-mail your rosters or call for more details!

playoffs will be as outlined in the current bylaws (see below). Just a friendly reminder that any team with a past due balance will need to have dues current in order to advance to the play offs, automatic qualification to the Tricup or wild card drawings. All score sheets and team fees for the session will need to be turned in by the last week of this session. Not receiving either teams score sheet for a past week of play, will result in a double forfeit and both teams will be marked past due with zero points being awarded. If your team currently has a past due balance,it will appear on your score sheet. If you are unsure of your teams status with what may be missing or need to discuss the balance due, we will be glad to help you figure it out. Please feel free to call, text or e-mail any questions you may have.

 20. SESSION PLAYOFFS 8-Ball & 9-Ball Leagues:
In a division of 5 or fewer teams, the 1st place team will get a bye and the 2nd place will play the wildcard team. The winner of week 1 will play the 1st place team in the second week of the playoffs.

In a division of 6-14 teams, the first place team will automatically advance to the session’s Tri-Cup. The 2nd through 4th place teams and one wildcard team will advance to playoffs. There will be two weeks of playoffs and two teams will advance to the session’s Tri-Cup.

We use The Equalizer® handicap system  to determine the amount of games a player has to win in order to capture the match.  It allows a novice to win less games than a more-skilled opponent, to win a match for their team. That's why everyone can play and anyone can win...no matter what their playing ability.

Here in the Triad APA, beginners are the most sought after players in the league and ALL members are encouraged to participate in the handicap review process.  We offer 8 Ball, 9 Ball, Masters,Ladies, and Doubles formats.

No other organization in pool gives ordinary players a chance to win a share of nearly $1.5 MILLION guaranteed cash and prizes paid out through its national tournaments.
